Will Trusts are simply a will and trust combined together. Specifically a trust is written within a will. The trust comes into force on death, alongside the other terms of a Will such as gifts and distribution of the estate.
One crucial difference between assets to be distributed from a Trust and thus separately to assets in the Will not in Trust, is that the Trust assets will avoid probate, and thus possible costs and lengthy delays.
There are many different Will Trusts available, and our Estate Planners will take all of a client’s objectives and priorities into account before recommending any estate plan.
